Grad 2010

Cap and Gown portrait sessions start tomorrow. Bring your sitting fee if you want a proof book. Otherwise, only one shot will be taken. The fee must be paid at your appointment to get the proof book.
Boys wear a white collared shirt and a black tie. Girls wear a v-neck or a tank top. Girls also should wear a necklace, but it is not mandatory.
You can still call to schedule your appointment at 223-9559 or go see Mrs. Pickerell in her class room.

Friday the 13th

So I had to go to the emergency room last night for the evening clinic. When I got there I signed in and waited for about 10 min. The nurse came out and took me to one of the rooms. She asked what was wrong as she took my vitals.

(Just so you know I was sent there by the pharmasist after telling them about my surgery site being inflamed. They wanted to make sure I didn't have an infection. I didn't.)

Anyway, the Dr came in and checked me out and called one of the floor nurses who deals more with what issues I am having.

She brought me some stuff to fix me up and we were outta there.

Long story short, Taber nurses are awesome and super nice. The many times I have had to see them, they have always been great. Nurses in general have a very hard job. I am glad they are there for us.

Thank you to all nurses. You are amazing.

Heading back in to the studio.

This has been rough for me. After the surgery I wanted to go back to work but had no energy. Now I have the energy and I can't get there fast enough.

Grad is coming up and I am preping the studio for that. Got a few new ideas in the works for special sessions.

Had a great Rememberance Day thanks to the Pickerells. Lots of good food and great conversation. Thank you Denise for hosting. :-)

Anyway, I'm gonna have a busy day today. Stop by if you like.

Back for the attack!

On Monday I will be attempting to return to the studio to get some of the orders out. If you are waiting on an order you will most likely get a call to come pick it up.

I would like to say thank you to all of the well wishers who contacted me.

There was a nice article in the Taber Times by Greg Price that focused on photographers and how the recession is affecting us. I found it very interesting and inspiring. Thanks Greg!

The Membership Commitee for the Chamber will also meet on Monday at the chamber office. This is the first meeting of the year so we will cover lots I'm sure.

See everyone on Monday and I will be at the studio early until 11am or so. I will try to make it for most of the week but I am still pretty tired from the surgery an I'm gonna take it slow. You can always call and email.
