Been busy with grad so here are a few from the summer until now.

Grad 2010

Cap and Gown portrait sessions start tomorrow. Bring your sitting fee if you want a proof book. Otherwise, only one shot will be taken. The fee must be paid at your appointment to get the proof book.
Boys wear a white collared shirt and a black tie. Girls wear a v-neck or a tank top. Girls also should wear a necklace, but it is not mandatory.
You can still call to schedule your appointment at 223-9559 or go see Mrs. Pickerell in her class room.

Any questions or concerns should be sent to PureMojo Studios, not the school.

Friday the 13th

So I had to go to the emergency room last night for the evening clinic. When I got there I signed in and waited for about 10 min. The nurse came out and took me to one of the rooms. She asked what was wrong as she took my vitals.

(Just so you know I was sent there by the pharmasist after telling them about my surgery site being inflamed. They wanted to make sure I didn't have an infection. I didn't.)

Anyway, the Dr came in and checked me out and called one of the floor nurses who deals more with what issues I am having.

She brought me some stuff to fix me up and we were outta there.

Long story short, Taber nurses are awesome and super nice. The many times I have had to see them, they have always been great. Nurses in general have a very hard job. I am glad they are there for us.

Thank you to all nurses. You are amazing.

Heading back in to the studio.

This has been rough for me. After the surgery I wanted to go back to work but had no energy. Now I have the energy and I can't get there fast enough.

Grad is coming up and I am preping the studio for that. Got a few new ideas in the works for special sessions.

Had a great Rememberance Day thanks to the Pickerells. Lots of good food and great conversation. Thank you Denise for hosting. :-)

Anyway, I'm gonna have a busy day today. Stop by if you like.

Back for the attack!

On Monday I will be attempting to return to the studio to get some of the orders out. If you are waiting on an order you will most likely get a call to come pick it up.

I would like to say thank you to all of the well wishers who contacted me.

There was a nice article in the Taber Times by Greg Price that focused on photographers and how the recession is affecting us. I found it very interesting and inspiring. Thanks Greg!

The Membership Commitee for the Chamber will also meet on Monday at the chamber office. This is the first meeting of the year so we will cover lots I'm sure.

See everyone on Monday and I will be at the studio early until 11am or so. I will try to make it for most of the week but I am still pretty tired from the surgery an I'm gonna take it slow. You can always call and email.

Pickerell Fiesta

I got my Surgery Date!

On October 20th I will be admitted to the Foothills Medical Centre for a surgical procedure that will hopefully take care of my ongoing medical issue. I will not be back full time at the studio until Dec. 1st.
If you need to order anything before Christmas please do so by this Friday, October 16th.
Otherwise, Your order may be delayed until I return.

I will be in the studio all this week during regular hours, so stop in and see me.

Weddings and Grad stuff

I am redoing my wedding prices and will have a new price list in the next week. I have restructured everything. I think it wll be a little easier for people to get exactly what they want.

My packages will still be the same but I am using a different album company. Keep in mind that my package are meant to be all inclusive and give you everything you need and the best value for your money.

Jackson Grad Session 2009

Grad update

Greetings from Whitefish, Montana! Just wanted to tell everyone that the Grad client pages have been updated as of two days ago. All the slideshows are up. I am in Whitefish for a little R&R (school shopping) and will return on Monday for regular hours.

New at PureMojo Studios

Hey, we have been busy here at the studio. Starting next week, The
Framers will now be located in PureMojo Studios. We have been hard at
work moving her in the last two weeks and now all that is left is the
cleaning up. We will be featuring some cool new products such as
Gallery Wraps. This are portraits on canvas and wrapped on a 2 inch
stretcher. We will make your portrait into art. Lori Valgardson is the
best in town and has been framing for many years. You will recieve the
same quality service as you did at her other location. She will still
cover all of your framing needs, not just mine.

In the next few weeks we will be adding new promotions and new
sessions. We will be adding framing to the website as well. So now you
will be able to order your images frames and receive them ready to hang. I am truly excited for this new venture and invite everyone to stop in and check out the studio and all of the new additions. You will be
surprised when you walk in and see how different it looks.

By the way don't forget to book your Fall portrait sessions now as it
will soon be that time.

Great Falls

July 22, 1995, I fell in love with my best friend... Again ;)

Actually, we were married in Lethbridge by a JP on April 8, 1995.

Tomorrow, I am taking my wife and my daughter to Great Falls, MT. We are staying at the hotel we stayed at the night we were married in Great Falls.
